Grizrus, Lord of Beasts is badly wounded in a the battle against Yerlitha and her cerebral gorgers that seals Yerlitha and her whole faction away in a magical rift within the Toxic Basin. Nursed back to health by a Deadmouth Hag, Grizrus leaves the hag with a pair of golden cats as companions. The cats intermingle with local feral cats and create the race of intelligent feral cats that inhabit Ringside Woods, where the felines maintain a cult dedicated to the worship of Grizrus.

After several party members took necrotic damage from touching an ancient elven tome, The Elven Book of the Dead, Nieran recovered three powerful scrolls that allowed the user to animate dead, talk to the dead and even return the dead to life. He then proceeded to burn all three scrolls, along with the book, believing that it was an affront to his ancestors to disturb the dead.
The Robin's Nest Home for Orphans in Highport is partially destroyed in a fire. The fire is contained quickly and everyone gets out alive, but the orphanage is left without the room and resources to help the volume of orphans that it previously cared for, leading to an influx of street children in Highport.
Snarf, Flash and Aryas (formerly members of Group B) are restored to flesh from their petrified forms nearly 5 years after encountering a basilisk in the ruins of Gun Darim.
