Torched Emberlands

The Emberlands itself is mainly covered in black wastelands and has a sweltering hot climate, which has led to a compactly concentrated population, despite the number of people, which means most of them live in a small town on the outskirts of the wastelands. The island's landscape is quite beautiful; cascading lava rivers, red leatherleaf tree, and a majestic volcano top is just a sliver of the elegance the Torched Emberlands has to offer, which is why the island is a cherished destination among foreigners.

The heat from the lava rivers causes many species to die to from heat exhaustion within a few days. Water evaportates within minutes, hence no rivers of water. The exception of the Írema Nerá Ocean and the Shallow Strait, which are so cold that the heat and from the lava rivers cannot penatrate. And the dark lava rock that coats the surface still brims with heat, scorching the feet of those who are not heat resistant (and possibly burning off their shoes). It is highly not recommended for vampires to go there.

The Torched Emberlands is a tiny island with a population of 61,000 humans and 485 phoenixes. Bordered by a huge ocean on all sides, the island of the Torched Emberlands mainly lives off herbalism, tailoring, and trade. The people of the Emberlands are compassionate towards foreigners and tend to welcome them with warmth and kindness. They feel foreigners could support the country's well being. The Emberlands has resolute laws and law enforcement, which is fairly normal. The people are gentle due to prosperous trade, thanks to perfecting themselves after years of training. This is also reflected in the island's flag, which is a solid red color. Their coat of arms is a yellow phoenix with its wings spread.
