egends amonst the Northmen of the Unbound Lands tell of Wynn - the Fair, the Protector, the Great Mother. Mother to Death and wife of The Green Knight, Wynn led the beings now known as the The Avanís Pantheon against the Titan in a battle that saw the creation of this world.
On the eve of battle, Wynn gave birth to Death. The very next day she took up her spear wreathed in lightning, Lúin, and slew the Titan. As the Titan's carcass fell, a great Darkness spilled out from within, engulfing Wynn and destroying her.
The Freemen of the North worship her as the matriach and most powerful goddess of the Avanís Pantheon, with Aegis Meer marking the place where she was slain. "Protector's Boundary" the community is named, after the enchantments that protected her husband and daughter after she fell.
Wynn was known as 'the Fair' for her purity, courage and unfaltering heart. She is also referenced in some oral traditions as the 'Lightbringer' - a name traditionally used within the Dawning Empire to describe The Chevalier. The Northmen herald The Chevalier as a student or squire of Wynn's.
Amongst the Northmen, there seems to be some association between Wynn and the Rosewall, but it is not clear what that significance might be.
