Missituk Club - 411 W High St

This exclusive men's club owns its own Georgian mansion. It is always open to members, and a porter is always on duty. Amenities include a library, a billiards room, a commons room, a bar, a small dining room, and three bedrooms are available. No women are allowed past the porter's booth. Membership is by invitation only. Initiation costs $470, as do annual dues. Drinks, food, and rooms are extra.   Members includes the president of New Jerusalem First Bank, Judge Randall, and financier/developer Robert Beckworth, owner of the Tower Professional Building and the Hotel Missituk.   Duncan Craig works behind the bar at the Missituk Club. He is of Scottish descent and very proud of that fact. Duncan will judge a man by how he takes his whisky, and if that whisky isn’t Scotch, that’s already a strike against them. Irish whiskey is just about tolerable, but Duncan has a very low opinion of anything from the New World that might be posing as whisky. A true gentleman should take his whisky neat, not ruining the taste by diluting it. Not that Duncan would make any comments to the club members, but he is judging them
