Willamina's arrival at court was sponsored by Klonna, who thought Atheneis would be attracted to her friend. The two women immediately fell for each other. The relationship between the two women began about a year after Willamina married Annannara's sister, the Empress Atheneis Majara. At first the relationship was covert, but Atheneis eventually caught them together. For a time Atheneis forced them to breakoff the relationship, but overtime the Empress became convinced she could except their affair and allowed them to renew their romantic relationship. This relationship became general knowledge after the birth of Kirena, who was conceived through Willamina's use of the spell of change ot impregnate Annannara.

Floret and Willamina initially hated each other. Floret wanted to displace Willamina and Willamina felt like Floret disrespected her position. Eventually their constant fighting and backstabbing pushed Atheneies to find a way to force them to cooperate. Using the spell of change and a fertiity spell Willamine impregnated Floret. Te magic was far more effective than anyone bargained for and the result was triplets. The pregnancy to a degree made Willamina protective and considerate of Floret and made Floret develop a degree of affection for Willamina. They are still very competitive with each other, but cooperate on child rearing and managing the royal dance troop. They have a significant level of physical attraction to each other, but both hold Atheneis first in their affections.
