Personal history
One day a guy donated his sperm at an artificial insemination clinic that doubled as a pet and GMO slave production center. This sperm was mismatched as a result of an operator bumping into the sorting machine. This sperm ended up being used to fertilize a modified egg that was meant to be fertilized by modified sperm. Out comes "half-GMO", "half-breed", "aww jeez Rick these terms actually sound pretty racist huh?", "that's *burps* because they are Morty these people are [REDACTED]ing racist towards GMOs" T1ThE3: shortened to Tithy by friends.
The owner of the company buying the slaves, seeing an 80% off deal and realizing the potential, went ahead and bought her along with numerous other GMO slaves for the purpose of mining Death Zone planets and moons along the LIR-CHG border, being ones where no machines with remote connections can be safely used for fear of the LIR's hackers or the CHG's hackers pretending to be LIR hackers for the sake of propaganda. These slaves, as a result, had to operate and lift around heavy machinery for the mining, as well as guard for any... dangers *coughs in Automatic Empire bots, LIR bots, CHG bots, GMO predators from LIR and CHG, criminals from LIR and CHG and so on*.
Annnd so Tithy was put to work in going down the more narrow crevices, scouting for danger and, due to her being much faster than her brethren, getting to be the one that puts the explosives in place, sets off the timer and sprints away as fast as they can. That first one didn't last as she did still end up being taller than John Cena or the Rock... okay now I'm imagining her in a fight with them and it's hilarious.
But not to worry for MineCorp was expanding into consumer goods, made directly from the resources it mined, and as a result wanted a face for the company that said "we haz humane treetmant of our slaves pleeze giv munnies" and Tithy was the only one that didn't look like they were taken from a horror game. CHG officials were a bit iffy about this, as there were concerns that people might realize that GMOs are people and start, Jeff the insanely intelligent AI forbid, demanding they have actual rights but MineCorp ultimately wasn't breaking any laws and the surveys conducted on the matter showed that most people still didn't think GMOs deserved rights... when those surveys were conducted by MineCorp in MineCorp-chosen locations, that is.
This led to her being overly loved and respected to the point of half-worship by her fellow slaves, who were brainwashed into loving the company, and this resulted in her actually preferring hanging out with the non-modified managers and enforcers, who took their time warming up to her and even then claimed that she had just picked up on her "human half". She unofficially became one of them, being taught in hand-to-hand combat and basic gun use and even helping them prevent an escape, learning lots of contradicting stories about how the universe came to be, what higher beings there may or may not be, human history, various organizations and so on.
Anyhow, an attempt at sexually renting her out ending in the broken legs of the creepy creeper later and she gets the task of being among those delivering a present to the house of the company's owner for his daughter's birthday and she pulls what's called a pro-gamer move by trying out the headset right when the The Great Terrorist Organisation does its thing.
