Rudy Giuliani is an Investigator and the mayor of New York City.
In January of 1999, Rudy became interested in NYPD Detective Lee Mercer's investigation of a link between a string of gruesome killings and The Nightlands, an occult-themed tabletop role-playing game. Rudy acquired a pre-released copy of The Nightlands, played it, and fell under its curse, dooming him to a life of violence, cannibalism, and insanity unless he could find a way to break the game's dark power over him. Hoping to spare others from this fate, he secretly hired anti-occultist Beverly Beverly, freelance hacker August Laine, and detective Joe Iverson to destroy the copies of The Nightlands stored inside Masters Warehouse. They succeeded, leaving Rudy's as the only extant copy of the game.
A number of NYPD officers, among whom have been included Joe Iverson and Pete Watanabe, have a covert loyalty to Rudy greater than the one that they have to their superiors within the force. These officers act as Rudy's agents and sometimes accompany him on his travels.
Rudy's Player is Paul.
Rudy Giuliani actually exists and is neither created nor owned by PAN. His portrayal in our story should be understood as the humorous work of fiction that it is.
