NYPD

The New York City Police Department (NYPD), officially the City of New York Police Department, is the largest police force in the United States.
In January of 1999, NYPD Detective Lee Mercer discovered that each suspect in a string of killings and acts of cannibalism had previously played a pre-released copy of The Nightlands, an occult-themed tabletop role-playing game. Mercer made occult specialist Morgan Freeman Brown a consultant on the Nightlands case, and the NYPD subsequently named Brown as the target of a manhunt for his suspected role in the deaths of multiple police officers.
The NYPD arrested Beverly Beverly for her role in the destruction of Masters Warehouse, although Joe Iverson and a number of its other officers were also acting on Rudy Giuliani's secret instruction to destroy that warehouse.
The NYPD's Officer Pete Watanabe was in fact a plant for the Buddha's Tears cult, working personally with and spying on Rudy Giuliani.
The NYPD actually exists and is neither created nor owned by PAN.
