Masters Warehouse

Masters Warehouse was a shipment facility used to store The Nightlands, a cursed tabletop role-playing game, before its scheduled release.   The warehouse was located in a crime- and poverty-stricken neighborhood in Queens. It was guarded by private security and surrounded by a high wall, topped with razor wire, accessible through gated entryways.   In January of 1999, Masters Warehouse received a visit from occult specialist Morgan Freeman Brown and freelance hacker August Laine, who were investigating The Nightlands. Brown, who had played The Nightlands and fallen victim to its curse, later tried to destroy the copies of the game stored in the warehouse. He hoped, in so doing, to spare others from the curse, but his mission failed and he was abducted by Ichi Bakaru, who kept guard over the warehouse.   Following Brown's motive and example, New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani secretly hired Beverly Beverly, August Laine, and Joe Iverson to destroy Masters Warehouse and everything inside. They succeeded, reducing the structure to a charred ruin. Although a number of its officers were conspirators in the warehouse's destruction, the NYPD at large arrested Beverly for her role in the crime.
