Personal history
Lyra was a minor member of the Calibridge family. She lived in Calibridge Citadel and was a handmaid to the lady of the house in the early 1600s AR. As a cousin of the family, she was lead among the handmaids and a trusted advisor.
She was participating in an Eternal Harmony service led by Thaddeus, Priest when Teige interrupted. She didn't escape his wrath. He killed her, along with everyone else who was in the room. Her and many others aren't mentioned by name when the Bloody Chapel Incident is talked about.
The trauma of the event and her love for Calibridge Citadel kept her from moving on to Harmony Veil and then to Cosmic Tapestry.
She's resided at Calibridge Citadel as a Ghost, with occasional forays out into the world, trying to find someone who can release her. Though, because of the trauma of her death and the passage of time, she has a hard time distinguishing between reality and fiction. Because of her close relationship to her cousin and the other handmaids, she reaches out to women for help.
