History

Planning Stages
Due to Cyrind's revealed connection to Cieris the Immolator, as his son, it is presumed that Cyrind must have been born before Cieris was seemingly vanquished towards the end of The Cataclysm War. Nothing is known about his time between then an his earliest appearance, as a student of the The Radiant Tower in Dawnstone. During his time there, masquerading in human form, he was noted as being a curious student in regards to the Imbuement school of magic. All in all, he was a respectful student. However, unknown to his colleagues at the time, Cyrind was the perpetrator behind the kidnapping and disappearance of Arthur Greyson. Cyrind had identified Arthur as the foremost intellectual in his field of magic, Imbuement, and imprisoned him on Mon Vulkarna to force him to work on how to free Cieris from his own prison.
The Feast of Plenty Attack
When Ysiron and Cieris disappeared fighting into the very same mountain range, never to be seen again, they were both presumed dead. However, truth was that Ysiron captured and imprisoned Cieris into a Soul Gem, a large ruby-like stone that he then hid in the underdark. Ysiron then continued to live in a humanoid form to keep watch on the situation. Cyrind learned of Halatir Oberon's impending acquistion of an artefact and devised a plan to keep the lawkeeping force of Ullford busy so that when he attacked, he would have easy access to Halatir's Haven - Ullford and steal it. Unfortunately for him, his distractions - The Woodland Raiders and the enlargement obsessed wizard, Lavarius Longstaff were both thwarted by an adventuring party before The Feast of Plenty. Cyrind still went ahead with his attack but he, himself, was stopped by stronger magical defences around Halatir's Haven than he anticipated. He, and a blonde woman in black robe whom he appeared in league with on this endeavour, left empty handed.
The Resurrection of Cieris
Later, he discovered the location of the Soul Gem that held his father and managed to successfully steal it during an uprising of the local underdark town of Obskarv against their tyrannical rulers. Months later he also carried out another successful heist, this time on Year's End, on the holdings of Justor Trading Company, now under Etta Maxime's control. There, he distracted the former pirate, and allies as his own accomplices stole a seemingly innocous bowl from their storage.   This bowl turned out to be a Bowl of Transference and was the key to restoring his father. He resurrected Cieris mere days before the adventuring party, who would become The Grey Knights, reached him. The Grey Knights included, at that time, Arthur Greyson's son, Garrison. They had also been present at the Year's End party with Etta Maxime when it was attacked, but it was Garrison's quest to find his father that ultimately drew them there. Thankfully for them, they were saved from having to fight Cieris the Immolator by the arrival of Halatir Oberon, who revealed himself as the humanoid guise of Ysiron. Once again they did battle amongst the mountains. As the old foes renewed their duel, The Grey Knights, with a weak and frail Arthur Greyson took on the younger dragon. Fittingly, it was Arthur Greyson that dealt the final blow, disintegrating Cyrind.   Ysiron did not finish Cieris off and Cieris's whereabouts remain unknown.
