Chosen of the Storm Ivar Stormsmasher
Ivar Stormsmasher is a Dwarven paladin of Lorthion Lord of Storms. He travels with his companion Hregg a Gildercrest Ram whom has been with him for several decades now, which is an abnormally long lifespan for a Gildercrest Ram.
He is a close friend and advisor to Jarl Skavar the Strong, while not officially on the Jarl's counsel he does provide him with insight.
Ivar has spent all of his adventuring life in the service of Lorthion Lord of Storms. His travels have taken him all across Angimar and ocaisonally to other places throughout Aurelimoore.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Ivar is a very stout and muscular Dwarf. He is corded with taught muscle from a lifetime of working and fighting, as time has gone on he has become rather rotund around the midsection.
Identifying Characteristics
Ivar has a thick braided beard woven with several silver runic rings that has gone gray with age and he has his septum pierced with a ring of mithral. Beneath the cowl of his cloak Ivar is bald, his thick, bushy eyebrowns rest above piercing saphire eyes that almost crackle with lightning like dark thunderheads heralding the storm.
Apparel & Accessories
Ivar wears a worn blue cloak everywhere he goes, typically with the cowl up covering his head. Beneath his cloak he wears a set of half plate armor with various adornments to the Storm Lord.
He wears a fur mantle across his muscular shoulders atop his cloak.
Specialized Equipment
Ivar wields a legendary warhammer known as Squall Bringer. It is rumored to be a vestige of ancient times and is believed to be blessed by the The Lord of Storms himself, imbuing it with magic abilities.

Close friends with Jarl Skavar the Strong leader of The Pale.
Ivar has been known to work with Jurlah Norred-Frostblade and the Ice Hawks from time to time, though he is not an official member he does help them on hunts occaisionally.
He frequents the Valkyrie's Spear regularly when he is in town. Some believe that he has a bit of a crush on Ingun Nyrn, Sigrun the Shieldmaiden's business partner. Some have noticed that she does not necesarily feel the same about him, though she still treats him with respect and adoration.

Ivar has a pet Gildercrest Ram that he views as family. The Gildercrest Ram's name is Hregg, and he has become Ivar's closest companion. They have traveled together for nearly two decades.
