A city at the edge of Human civilization, yet if you journey there is little that makes it unique and different to the cities of the Galaxy of Astraesto. New Serdica has much alike to its namesake, to the point that unless I was told otherwise, I would believe I am in the heart of Raybia.

New Serdica is a small city on the planet of Kalran in the Calisis Galaxy - a sattelite of the Galaxy of Astraesto, considered to be the furthest point of human colonisation. The city is controlled by the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets, and administered through the Calisis Colonial Administration. While technically patrolled by the Federation Interstellar Navy and the Federation Intergalactic Garrison, the city and planet are for the most part isolated from any other part of human civilization. The city is named after Serdica, the capital of the Raybia Sector of the Federation.
The city mostly serves as a refueling and mining region for the area, with the Exploratory Fleets of the Federation being the most common visitors to the city and planet. Rich in minerals and fuels, the majority of the planet's population that do not work in shipping instead work in these fields, with the three industries dominating the planet. New Serdica is also home to one of the few areas where ___ is naturally produced, a key element in the most advanced Federation naval warships, which has seen several shipbuilding companies, such as Envis Shipyards, take a keen interest in the planet and city.
