Tales of Aran'sha - Winter chronicles

Ahlan wa salan, my friends! The embers burned hot and bright this year - but no fire burns forever. So, what exciting tales were told? Quite a few! But first, let me talk a tiny bit about my experience :

This was a super stressful month for me considering I had a lot of stuff going on. Making space for writing was quite the challenge and I did a lot of drafting/prewriting for future articles. However, it was also quite fun to push myself in the end - I managed almost 4500 words in just 4 days. And guess what - I made it! Last minute, but I managed to get 12099 words on paper.   And that brings us to today. Before is are all the stories you forged in the embers, all the tales that are now told - and we will walk among them and pick those that burned brightest. And here they are:
(A small sidenote - if a follow button is missing it means you are already a follower of this world - thank you for supporting the author!)

Tales from the embers

Be it a heartwarming, foreign custom or a world that has never been before...these are things you wont forget.

World Anvil by leijona
Born from a little conversation in the challenge channel, this anvil is the living beating heart of a whole culture. The writing is superb and gives great insight into the dwarfen culture. I highly recommend you check it and the rest of Leijona's world out.

Inspiration for myself: Weaving more cultural aspects into my items is a great idea.

Wake up!

A world not quite any other this is just a fantastic interactive journey I can't recommend enough. There's lots to learn and explore - Catoblepon outdid themselves.

Inspiration for myself: Interactivity is something Aran'sha is still missing a bit, time to change that.

The Cask Conflict of 35-36, 2A
Koragath probably came up with one of my favorite conflicts ever. Dotted with maps and details, this will take you trough every major development of this conflict.

Inspiration for myself:Tackle at least one conflict in the next year .

Boo: Your guide to the afterlife
One of my new favorite authors, Imagica has created a narrator, a guide and a super fun character. And lets not forget to mention the gorgeous world that character lives in - its certainly worth a deep dive.

Inspiration for myself: The amount of detail and structuring here is sure to inspire future articles.

Strays and Stories
Imagica is here for a second time . Originally I'd have stuck to one article, but this one simply drew me in. So, stay a while and..read a bit more.

Inspiration for myself:Add more cozy things .

Whispers in the dark

Tragic legends, terrible conditions - these are tales of trying times. But no matter what, there is always hope for a brighter future.

Spellshatter Syndrome
A great condition that is exquisitely detailed with astonishing detail, history and effects. One of the best condition articles I've seen so far and a great take on the cost of magic.

Inspiration for myself: Work on my magic systems, this gave me heaps of inspiration!

Time ripped
This is so simple, but a terrible, terrible fate to experience. Mochi has managed to conjure a nightmare in a few words.

Inspiration for myself: Sometimes, few words can convey the meaning as effective as a long article - I'll be sure to remember that.

Lichdom
Jon has outdone himself here - this condition made me sad , taking pity on the poor souls - all supported by gorgeous art, superb writing - this is truly a masterpiece.

Inspiration for myself: This whole article. Period.

Fantastic creatures, wonderful flora and strange contraptions

Wonders without compare..

Botanicals of the Whistling Mountains
Daeni takes out on a botanical journey trough the whistling mountains. I highly recommend this journal.

Inspiration for myself: A catalogue style for plants and animals by region could be fun to write, especially with the new region primers I'm working on.

Jala - Volcanic Gas
Articles about materials are rare, but articles about a gas are like finding diamonds. Blue Fairy 74 takes this diamond and polishes into a sparkling gem with great storytelling and incredible detail.

Inspiration for myself: Dont neglect materials and take this as inspiration what to add to it.

A-6/49 Long Range Fighter
Vehicles are my weak point, so I always look for ways to learn how to write them. Sara created this astonishingly detailed vehicle description that is filled to the brim with details.

Inspiration for myself: Write some vehicles - and don't forget the details.
