Para

Planet ON2110, explored in early 1020 ABO. The UGF welcomed those who dared leave their tribes into the galactic society, and negotiated establishing a port on Para's surface. With the port's completion, those that refused to leave their tribes were given an opening to join the wider galaxy, especially as technology began to disseminate throughout the peoples.

Extradimensional Influence

When Para's system was discovered, and charted, the The Looking Glass was quick to bring up an apparent anomalous energy signature lacing the star system's entirety. The star itself, named Iris, is a standard K1 V orange star, but upon the surface that faces the planet of Para, the orange gives way to a green color, and a long, dark marking, not unlike the pupils of a feline, or a cagher, mars the surface where the green is strongest. Iris' surface is fairly typical, for the most part, composed of expected stellar elements, but the ever-moving 'iris', with its corona of green, are composed of something far less understood. The Looking Glass has theorized that the eye of Iris may, in fact, be a conduit, leading to another dimension, though with the energies radiating from it, traversing this conduit would be quite unfeasible.

Mysteries

Deep within thick jungles, or imbedded into arid cliffs, Para houses the remnants of an evidently once-great civilization, with structures that, while crumbling, have withstood the test of time, as monuments of what once was.
Some of these ancient structures bear a marked similarity to the archways found upon the surface of Elmaloris, and discovered in some caves on Irrim, indicating, perhaps, that this civilization was galaxy-spanning at one point.
