Crux Spur
Out towards the edges of one of the spiral arms is a place known simply as the Crux System.
While much of the sector got hit by a gamma burst some years ago, it was the now desolate world of Yolam that got hit the hardest. The native cagher, known among themselves as the Amuren, were forced to flee with precious little time to grab their belongings, leaving much of their legacy abandoned on an uninhabitable rock.
Another world struck by the gamma ray burst, if only by a glance, was Munazra, and while society was already on the decline by that point, this new chaos was more than enough to spur the lawless masses to pick up arms and overthrow countless governments. Preoccupied with the evacuation of Yolam, the UGF was toothless to lend resources to the poor Munazrans.
