The Extermination

Some time after the Fall an Insectoid like race appeared on the surfaces after they were forced to flee there underground dwellings.. Still riding the fear of Scourge Creatures the thoraxians were attacked on sight and war was declared. Thoraxians are creatures that have the ability to shape shift by skinning the face off of a creature and using magic to recreate the body from there own exoskeleton and have lived among other races sparsely for generations, it wasn't until the Fall that their secret was blown. Upon seeing their natural appearance many people reacted accordingly. By killing them without mercy, even if the Thoraxian was apart of there family.The Genocide of the Their people began. Soon after to save themselves The Thoraxians made allies of the Vampires forming not the strongest front line army but one of the strongest Spy Networks never seen.

It took years for their name to be cleared, but the damage was done, between the Scourge Beast, the other races, and some unknown force now known as the Creeper. the once vibrant Thoraxians race had been pushed to the brink of extinction.
In a last ditch effort to save themselves with the aid of the vampires, they were able to conjugate to an abandoned dwarf city deep inside the Decrepit Mountain and there Kingdom is now only known as The Colony. Which holds a strict hierarchy, to preserve there people from succumbing to the outside world.

The Conflict

Prelude

During the fall the Throxians came across a creatures known only as the Creeper that would hunt entire families one by one, and when they tried to stop it, no matter what method they used it'd would come back eventfully leading to a forced retreat to the surface, which upon emerging they were attacked.

Battlefield

Battles would take place around there escape holes, where soldiers held back Scourge beast, and enemy armies from getting to there civilians escaping from a safer route.

Outcome

The Standing army wasted resources fighting a people who weren't the current foe, and were looking for a scapegoat.

Aftermath

Thoraxians were driven into re-adapting there culture to survive on the surface with new neighbors who had no problem wiping their species out.
