The Crystal Ball of Telepathy is a magical artifact with the unique ability to bestow telepathy on its user and those around them. It is created by the Travesty of Forbidden Knowledge, Cthothlast.
The most famous usage of the Crystal Ball was in a tale known as "The King's Deep Speech", in which a High Elven king attempted to use the Crystal Ball's telepathy to develop a unified language amongst all the peoples of Apa Axas. However, it reduced the entire kingdom to madness within days due to unbridled telepathy.
