Inkstones of Knowledge
The Inkstones of Knowledge are a magical item, often associated with Cthothlast. They are said to aid travellers in The Endless Archive to navigate the infinite halls, while secretly sapping the knowledge of the holder for the Travesty. The stone can allow the user to flawlessly recall one piece of lore or knowledge a day, regardless whether they had learnt it before. However, each use transfers a random memory to the Inkstone. Over time and prolonged usage, this can lead to memory gaps, forgotten allies, or even the loss of critical core memories.
