Remunan Kingdom is a country in the north of Atamor.

Government

The 4 Tetrarchs

Remunan Kingdom is a monarchy ruled by four rulers known as Tetrarchs. Each Tetrarch comes from one of the four great houses. Each house has a part of the kingdom which is their hereditary land where their seat is located. Tetrarchs reside in the Castle of Four Thrones in the kingdom's capital of Remun.

Succession

All Tetrarchs start and end their reign at the same time. When one of them dies, the other three have to abdicate or commit suicide to make place for all 4 successors to take the crowns.

History

The kingdom was founded in the year 5 Church, after the fall of the Empire of Atamor. The four great houses managed to come to an agreement about the future of the Remunan people. The city of Remun, the legendary birthplace of the Remunan culture was chosen as the capital of the new country.

Demography and Population

Remunan Kingdom is inhabited mostly by Humans of the Remunan culture. Near the eastern border some Lugian and Elven communities can be found. In the west there can be found some Steppe Rider groups which have migrated from the Western Steppe.

Territories

The kingdom controls most of the area north of the Great Mountains. It controls the territories from the mountains to the northern sea and from Lake of Susanne in the west to river Oro in the east.
