Amyriad’s Material Plane

Amyriad, or the Fractured Ring, is the material plane. It’s a ring world that surrounds the city Sigil and is orbited by the sun going between the ring and then outside it, with the ring spinning. Beyond the Aesthral Sea it is being orbited by the 4 main Elemental Planes, 8 quasi Elemental Planes, and very distantly by 16 outer planes. Each plane can be seen from the material plane almost as a planetoid body or a distant star.

Once know to be a typical spherical planet, it was destroyed in the Primal war and fractured into multiple pieces. Primarily from the destruction of the sun. Over Time this pieces came together and collided to form a ring like shape resulting in the planet’s current form.

The current material plane is made up of a mix or Io, Erek-Hus, and the fractured world. Erik-Hus’s blood was used to form the magma in the rings core and provides energy to the plane.

The sun is currently made from Erek-Hus's heart and from Pelor's body imprisoning the regenerating heart.
