Humans
Perhaps it is because of their shorter lives that they strive to achieve as much as they can in the years they are given. History
Humans were the first sentient races to come from the ancients tinkering. Known to be one of the most adaptable races that can be found, in almost any area of the world and on most planes. Due to this, and with the help of deities and magic, they've become the ancestor of many new races.
While humans have been known to breed with just about any other race, humans do not breed true. Resulting in some half races and their child’s being of another race, like Half-Elves .
Humans have shorter life spans with the average being around 60-80 years, but make up for it with being able to bare children every year. This has resulted in many humans in all corners of the world. WIthout this it likely that humans would disappear from Amyriad.
With their short life spans, humans often try to make the most out of every day and often change from their previously established traditions. This has resulted in humans, along with gnomes, being at the forefront of most new innovations and technologies.
