Hvithavon
Hvithavon is a bustling port trading frequently to Grewlheyde. Being the warmest of settlements in Isfeljor makes Hvithavon desirable—and therefore expensive—to live in. However, its close proximity to the wilds of Muurk Forest requires a large force of soldiers to protect it against monsters.
Demographics
Hvithavon is home to a large array of peoples. Aspiring entrepreneurs make their way to Hvithavon to try their skill at establishing themselves as merchants, sailors, craftsmen, and soldiers alike. Wealthy Isfels typically spend their days in their port-side homes here when the levels of cold in the world rise.
Government
Generally, each profession and operation is maintained by guilds. However, like other settlements in the world, Hvithavon has a town representative to speak for them in all guild and Paritet matters. Representatives are elected for this position by the town residents. Hvithavon's representative is Brandt Stjerne.
Defences
The outer wall stretches east to west, providing a barrier against the wondering creatures of Muurk Forest. This wall is thick, built for warding off large beasts. It's also under constant expansion on its east and west ends. As Hvithavon grows along the coastline, the wall follows in order to keep citizens safe.
Additionally, Muurkstein Garrison serves a more proactive roll in defense. This garrison acts as a first line, stopping many monsters from ever reaching the walls of Hvithavon. It also sends hunting parties into Muurk Forest to kill beasts before they become a problem.
Industry & Trade
Hvithavon serves as Isfeljor's main trade center. Many craftsmen of any profession utilize Hvithavon's docks to ship their goods to the world. Exotic goods of varying prices and quality come in through the harbor, enticing many Isfels to shop in Hvithavon.
Many artists make Hvithavon their home, enriching the city's decoration with their creations. The art produced here is Hvithavon's—and Isfeljor's—most notable export.
Infrastructure
Hvithavon offers a variety of establishments with competitive prices. Travelers looking to stock up have a large selecting of stores and inns for any income level. The harbor is where most stores, inns, taverns, and craft shops are located. Large waterfront houses of the wealthy rise above the myriad of stalls and shops lining the cliffs and wharf.
Further inland is where most residents live. As the city grows, it expands east and west, stretching its protective wall longer, rather than build any closer to Muurk Forest. The poorest residents live closest to the wall.
Guilds and Factions
All guilds have a steady presence in Hvithavon.
History
In the year 202, Hvithavon was a decent-sized settlement, but struggling to keep itself afloat even 38 years after Vira's campaign. That same year, a horde of monsters from Muurk Forest rampaged through the recovering town.1 Nearly all the population was decimated.
Later that year, The Laborers began building Muurkstein Garrison to combat the never-ending attacks from Muurk Forest.
Architecture
The buildings of the wealthy along the waterfront are comprised of light-grey stone and lavish facades. Most other buildings are made of the same light-grey granite, though not all are so decorated. Well-established stores will use their street-facing outer walls to carve depictions of their goods and supplies. Buildings closer to the wall are made of mostly wood.2
Geography
Hvithavon is situated at the southeastern edge of Isfeljor, where the warmer weather allows for lush plains. Austvei runs northwest, passing over the plains and through Melis Forest, connecting Hvithavon to Lyston. Several miles north is Muurk Forest. Muurkvei runs northeast to Muurkstein Garrison before contiuing on to Skurming, located within Muurk Forest.
South of Hvithavon is the channel between Isfeljor and Grewlheyde, and many ferrys run this short distance between Hvithavon and Klarhavon.
Natural Resources
Hvithavon has little of its own resources. It relies on attracting trade to flourish.

Related Reports (Primary)
1I visited Hvithavon soon after the attack. With so few survivors, the blood and viscera had not yet been washed away. Many kneeled, unresponsive in the streets and over their loved ones. I was unable to pull an eye-witness account of the event.
2Undoubtly, the original author was trying to be polite here. The buildings near the wall are all part of the slums—always have been. The poor cannot afford stone, though you will occasionally spot a few walls or pillars of it mixed with the timbers and planks of their homes and stores. Evidence points to at least some of this stone being siphoned off of other buildings.
