University Marketplace

Concept and Inspired by The Kingkiller Chronicle and Written by James Woodwright
Originally the University Marketplace was the Palace's subterranean gardens, when the Artistocracy started it got transformed into the University Marketplace.   The University Marketplace is made up of an inverted square-based pyramid of three levels and a tower that reaches the top of the marketplace or the bottom of the University. Along with the Brewers' who have a stall for their drinks and a practice tavern.   At the University Marketplace, the items and commissions that are made at the University Trade Rooms are sold in their corresponding stalls.   The tower is for legal and help from guards with directions. It also has the magical stalls. Around the layers are the stalls with the University Trade Rooms matching up, this is the case with the blacksmiths' and the woodworking but the Medicinal Trade Room being separated into potion making and medicinal plants. With the potion-making in the bottom floor of the tower and the medicinal plants stall in the middle layer.

The tower is for official marketplace business such as when items of the Marketplace, break or other legal matters. What is also contained in the tower are magical stall, that include alchemy and potion making.

Alterations

The University Marketplace used to be the palace's gardens. Once the Artistocracy got started it was converted to the Marketplace it was now, the alterations that needed to happen was dugged out stall space and the space in the tower had to be separated into rooms, with some requiring holes in the wall for stalls and for an entry way to get in from the front.      Much later on the candles lighting the marketplace were replaced with lights that required less ongoing attendance.

Tourism

Many members of the public come here for a walk or to have cheaper items, while helping others with education. Cheapness is not the case with the practice tavern with the costs of the other items from other Trade Rooms' stalls. As a result of this, The Golden Scales is marketed towards those who can afford the cost.
