University Accommodation
All University members have the rights to accommodation at the University which is the same building as Lavandula Palace. Each of the rooms come with a game, whidh in the case for the Applicant is going to be basic, more expensive games are included in the other rooms and are a lot more random. A member of the University can stay in their quarters regardless if they get promoted, based on the location of the rooms.Meta Quote: The images of the University Members' rooms currently displayed on the DND Whiteboard are temporary. I’m collaborating with my Creative Partner to create more professional visuals. However, the current images serve as good placeholders to illustrate the concept in the meantime.
If you see a black die, it indicates that portion of the wall is solid. A blue die signifies the presence of a window in that section.
Accommodation By Rank
Applicant - 3 by 3
Applicants are the only ones with accommodation not in the building itself, instead being in the same building as the Servants' Quarters. These only have enough room for a single bed, a desk and a wardrobe. There is often not enough space for anything else and any work that requires a large floor requires careful planning. The point of a small quarters is to motivate them, not just because they are small, but because they are in the same building as the servants. This, in turn, may imply in others that the rank of Applicant is a servile rank.Novice - 4 by 4
The Novice quarters are the smallest of those that are in the University. They are the first rank to have a bookcase as Applicants are unlikely to need a bookcase as they will have no books to need one. There room is bigger so they can do some small work.Apprentice - 4 by 5
Apprentices get a bigger room that than the Novice but nothing much changes from there. They could, if they wanted to, get more furniture.Master - 5 by 5
The Master is bigger still and can hold a table that can sit more than 2 people which callows them to invite other members over to their quarters.Doctor - 6 by 5
The Doctor's Quarters are the biggest quarters, apart from the Grand Artisan's. Beyond the size of the room, the Doctor gets a second bookcase as they may have the need for an extra bookcase.Purpose / Function
The pur pose of the room is to give a room for University Members to use for rest along doing p;private research if they prefer their own room to do it in.
