Glencoe
Glencoe is a small village in the Scottish Highlands, the setting of The Fossil Door.
The main village is non-magical, but Gormlaith and Eoin Macdonald run a small inn that is the centre of the magical community of the area. Their rooms are often full with drinking, good humour, and the occasional darts match.
There is a portal about two miles from the inn, built partway up the hillside.
