Tucked into the far eastern reaches of Amoxis, beyond the veiled edges of the Moonlit Highlands and bordered by the sparkling blue of the Azure Ocean, Galecrest Valley sprawls in open, sweeping grandeur. Its defining feature is its endless motion—the constant dance of air that sculpts the land and stirs the Spirit. This region stands as a living testament to the presence of the Titan Caelthys, the Boundless Breath, the Whisper of the High Skies.
Caelthys' essence suffuses the land, and the very air of Galecrest seems aware—watchful, curious, wild. Winds roll down from the high cloud-crags and sweep across the grasslands, shaping windweave meadows that shimmer like liquid silver. Occasional skywillow groves and stormbirch copses bend in rhythm with the currents, their bark inscribed with spiraling wind glyphs said to hum with divine resonance during the equinox.
Monolithic skybridges—stone arcs carved by elemental forces and ancient aerial erosion—connect high ridgelines and wind-torn canyons. The largest of these serve as pilgrimage sites for sky-priests and storm-ascetics, where wind-channels and Caelthys’ breath itself are believed to test and purify travelers. Here stand the Aerie Circles, druidic stone formations constantly battered by the winds, serving as both altars and trials for those who seek the Titan’s favor or insight.
Settlements in Galecrest are resilient and open to the skies, built with lightweight materials and wind-channeling designs. They often rise on cliffsides or rocky mesas, using sails and skycatchers not only for power but as spiritual symbols. The cliffport of Skyrend, facing the Azure Ocean, is one of the few reliable Airship mooring points in the world—second only to Welkis and Cressari—and is a hub for sky-traders, wind sages, and cloudforged artisans.
The valley’s people are tuned to the breath of Caelthys. Known as Windcallers, Skyheralds, or Galebinders, they commune with the air itself—learning its moods, riding its currents, and interpreting its whispers. Elemental air creatures such as zephyrs, cloudwraiths, and sky nymphs often drift through the valley, drawn to Caelthys’ sacred breath and the mortals who honor it.
