Encircling the vast continent of Amoxis, the Azure Ocean is a sprawling, ancient body of water whose depths are as enigmatic as the stars above. Its name is derived not only from the striking blue of its waters, but also from the strange energies that shimmer just below its surface—an iridescent sheen that waxes and wanes with celestial alignments.
This ocean is both lifeline and enigma to the people of Amoxis. Storms born from ancient leviathans and forgotten wars still stir the currents, and it is whispered that the ocean remembers every soul claimed by its waves. Sailors speak of ghost ships, sentient whirlpools, and islands that drift unnaturally, appearing on no map and obeying no tide.
The Azure Ocean is home to sea gods, spirits, and aberrant monsters that predate even the Titans. Its floor is dotted with the ruins of drowned civilizations, some whispering with magic that still functions—at a cost.
