Spirit
Spirits are ethereal entities that exist in a state between form and formlessness, born of emotion, memory, natural essence, or divine residue. Unlike mortals, spirits are not bound by flesh or linear time. They are reflections of the world’s unseen truths — whispers of the wind, the fury of a wildfire, the sorrow in forgotten places, or the joy of a newborn’s cry.
They are as varied as the forces that shape the world, ranging from wisps barely conscious of their own existence to powerful major spirits revered as gods in all but name. Spirits exist primarily in the Spirit Realm, though many wander the material world, manifesting through shrines, natural sites, or bonds with shamans and spellcasters.
