Dragonic Order
When I met the dragon, I was astonished. Even in her human form, I could feel her unfathomable power. Just being in her presence struck fear and awe in my heart. I felt a being as powerful as her must exist for a reason.
The dragonic order is a religious order with a long and often brutal history. The order's size and importance has changed many times over the millennia since its first founding. The core mission of the order has always been to spread Drakonism and its commandments. The order spread the faith with words and swords, whatever seemed most effective. They focused primarily on supernatural communities and rarely attempted to convert human settlements or factions.
Cassidy herself never looked to kindly on the order and often intervened when the order went out of control. In other cases the order fought battles with the Hunter's Guild, the Death Guard or the Legion of Glory. The order was rarely successful, as it usually lacked manpower and equipment.
And yet the order always recovered from any setbacks. Often returned from the ashes by the word of a charismatic leader that united various people under the banner of the order. These miraculous rises were usually thanks to the secretive cells of operatives who hid all over the world. They looked for promising leaders and recruited them to their cause at all costs. These cells were rarely found and whenever their attack on an established faction failed, they would return to the shadows, waiting for another chance at glory.
In the modern day the order has embraced the prophecy Return of the Dragons. Its members work tirelessly in the shadows to somehow make this happen.
