New Year's Resolutions 2024

New year's resolutions

  1. I read: Cosmic Bloom, on Solaris by nnie   I liked the detail of how a symptom is translucent skin. Very original and visually strong.   I haven't thought of any diseases or other non-monster threats for my world, I wanna come up with some more threats to daily life.       2. I read: The Lost's Guide to Surviving the Feywild on Dulūn by notahumanhand   I liked the idea of a library. what books would be written in my world, about what. would they even write anything to begin with? or use another medium to pass on knowledge?   I want to explore different media used in my world to convey information.       3. I read: Father of Craft myth on Chenravo by Spools_of_memory   I love how the ending added a little detail of a title that a god bestowed upon any dwarf that made something extraordinary of his own initiative.   I want to think of buildings, temples, gardens etc that the Ancients made. I want it to have a big 'Argonath' vibe.       4. I read: Norrith Sign Language on Etharai by notahumanhand   I like how the names 'nightwalker norrith' and 'snowsunken norrith' sound.   I DONT want to create a full language, but I might want to find some basic elements to give my made-up words some more consistency       5. I read: Duck Buns on Dark-Fall by ninne124   I loved the illustration. but the little star/flower detail caught my eye.   I want to come up with some more iconography like banners/flags/crests etc.       6. I read: Greenwood Honey on Isekail by RiverFang and Shiftrex   I liked how the introduction told a sort of mini story. and really nicely introduced the item and told about it's significance.   I want to create a bit of region with a few towns. What are some truly LOCAL products, and how do they interact with each other etc.       7. I read: Kelpen Kuuyik on Etherai by notahumanhand   I liked the coming of age rite, and how a geographic oddity caused the burial rites to be different   I really enjoy my own Dwarvish funeral ceremony. I might write some more of these rituals or short stories Shiri's funeral       8. I read: Loyra ethnicity on Iastarene by Frod0_baggins   I love the idea of a wandering clan. I wonder how that would work in my world, as I want to make the 'wild' of my world extremely daunting. The naming tradition of this article is very cool, as adults take on the name of the clan, signifying the unity over induvidualism.   I want to make my world more hostile, and think about what that would mean for anyone who wants to travel.       9. I read: Moon elves on Mirateia by cow2face   I love the map of their world. The ethnicity didn't particularly pique my interst, though it got me thinking.   I want to change the races of dwarves a little, Based on the How the Ancients made de dwarves myth, what if they didn't make only dwarves, but also different types of humanoids       10. I read: The forever storm on Yonderverse by Mochimanoban   I liked how it isn't júst a storm, but the people tried to 'move' it. even though it kind of backfired.   I want to come up with some more innovative ways of how peoples in my world interact with Ûnduleah
Resolutions:
  • come up with some more threats to daily life
  • come up with a more extreme change, like stone heart.
  • I want to flesh out how travel would function in this more hostile world
  • think of different media my world uses to convey or preserve information
  • create the physical (and mythical) leftovers of the ancients
  • find some basic elements to give my made-up words some more consistency
  • create 'language' beyond speech. Ways to convey information
  • I want to come up with some more iconography
  • I want to create a region with a few towns.
  • What are some truly LOCAL products?
  • Add more races of Ancient-created-humanoids besides just dwarves
  • Come up with more innovative interactions between people and their environment

Thank you so much for the feature! I'm brand new to your world, but from your resolutions and your homepage, I'm really intrigued and look forward to learning all about it this year!

I hope you have a great day!   Explore the endless planets brimming with life of the Yonderverse! Go after creatures, discover new places, and learn about the people you find along the way.
