April: Kissed by the Muse
Welcome to the fourth month of the 12in12 Challenge! The challenge begins on April 1st and ends on April 30th at 6:00 AM EST. Late entries can still collect the participation badge at any point, but will not be entered into the list of submissions. We may open a section of late entries at a later date.

What to expect when participating to compete during April
What is your challenge?
This April, be kissed by the muses of your world and explore all things related to the fine arts, including theater, poetry, painting, sculpture, music, epic poetry, and dance. Attention! We are not looking for the next amazing artist of your world. Tell us the stories behind the fine arts and the development of all kinds of art forms.
Helpful questions: What songs are sung, what dances are danced, what plays are performed? How did these art forms develop? Are there competitions? Who are the sponsors? ...
What kind of article can it be?
All article templates are welcome. Your contribution must be at least 300 and no more than 1,500 words without BBCode. Since this is about art, original artwork such as written poems, excerpts from a play, music, or self-painted pictures will earn bonus points. AI-generated art of all kinds is welcome, but original artwork will be given priority in this challenge.
How long is the challenge
The challenge runs from April 1st to the last day of April 2025. The article must be written in April 2025 and submitted by April 30th to be eligible to win.
How to submit
Submit your article in the comments below, and I'll add it to the list of participants. Only articles from the list of participants will be considered for the coveted April prize!
The Judges
Articles and artwork will be judged by me (Kiyomo) and the judge of the month. In this case, April is dedicated to the wonderful and creative Blue Fairy 74. Together, we'll review the submissions and create a shortlist. Once complete, we'll publish them by May 10th. The actual winner will be announced by May 15th.
