The Revelry of Tune is a magnificent competition of musical extravaganza that takes place where Tuners from all across the land compete to prove themselves as one of the best Tuners across the land and the chance to spread some fun and earn some fame along the way in the many days of tunes that can be heard just about everywhere.

History

Joy Through Competition

In the Radiarchy of Ondelenia, a land renowned for its dedication to the arts, comes a celebration that brings out the fiery passion within every person. Yet those that shall ignite shall be the Tuners that compete in it, being one of the most significant challenges to prove their skills above all the others, the Revelry of Tunes. It is here that Tuners from all across the land compete with one another to demonstrate their skill and are amongst the best around in the journey of fame and renown. From those who have just started their careers to the veterans who have made their way around the world, all have the chance to prove their mettle in a place where they thrive. All the while, allow those who come to watch to be mesmerized by the Tuners performing right before them in a grand spectacle.
While the crowds that gather around to see these Tuners perform enjoy themselves while being lost in the sound, the Tuners themselves must be able to give it their all if they wish to find recognition from the crowds to stand a chance. Thousands of Tuners head towards the city of Redoni, where they are met with a warm welcome by its people and the many travelers that come to watch the festivities. In the first day alone, most of them will be taken out of the competition, as the week goes on, only a dozen will remain to face off to claim the title of Revler of Tunes, with the one to gain it to receive fame and fortune as their names spreads across the Continent of Embera. Yet even those who do not win the revelry can still earn a chance at recognition should they stand out amongst the competition. But all of them must remember that the true goal of the competition is to have a good time, and bringing their fantastic tunes to the people they perform for is the primary purpose for the revelry's existence.

Execution

Sympathy of Sound: Groups of Tuners band together to create grand displays of tunes to start the competitions, to determine who is the most entertaining, and to head off to the next level of the competition.
Show Off: A stand-alone challenge that allows Tuners to show their skills in playing and showmanship to the crowd, who get to choose who heads to the final length of the competition.
Duel of Tunes: All-out duels between two Tuners to give it their all in musical fashion as they perform to prove they are the best Tuners around, with one being left on top to win it all.

Participants

Only Tuners can join the revelry, as it is solely for them as they perform for all who have come to watch them play.

Observance

It takes place on the eve of summer, when life is at its fullest, lasting a whole week filled with tunes that dance upon the air for miles around.
