Session 19

We arrived in Easthaven to spy Dazan burning at the stake, this is not good... I need to find Rowan, she wasn't with the fallen dead from what could be seen, nor a good portion of Brigan's band, maybe they're here in town. We moved on to meet with Captain Imdrah. Apparently they captured an associate of his, Verrick talked us into going to speak with the captive.
 
Though as the pyre collapsed, the vision of Dazan... melted, like so much ethereal wax... I'll keep this to myself for now.
 
Honey was the one in the cell, we let her know what was going on. She didn't take the news well, especially about Ser Didia.
 
Avarice escaped the fireball at the inn and left post haste.
 
I disguised Honey with a change of the color of her clothes and hair under the alias Scarlet. She looks cute in red, sadly, she's still quite upset.
 
From here we went to a place near to the remains of the trout. I took a look at the remains of the trout with Verrick, looks like it was an outright combat in here rather than just a flat our fireball on Dazan's part. Avarice got away scott free. Verrick and I discerned that Dazan may have not even thrown the first spell.
 
Upon leaving and heading north we got stuck in poor weather and attacked by emaciated polar bears.
 
We pushed north to Caer Konig. The people here seem suspicious and likely won't give us time of day, which may be for the best, this way they won't come to us for help.
 
Mayalee got us caught up in the troubles of the town, there's apparently a thieving problem.
 
Looks like the thief may once again be Dueregar, judging by a footprint i found which seems to be the same boot style, with traces of enlarge magic traces lingering upon it. We agreed to look into it after we deal with the Inverted Spire. Mayalee, Evelyn and Melisande believed it best we stop at the drow castle to see if we could collect Freya, if she hasn't left already. Honey parted ways with us here and went straight for the spire.
 
Dazan and his people came through here two days past, Sucho.. Rowan, was apparently kept on a leash and was stowed in the stables... Honey mentioned something about her being useless during the combat with avarice due to it being a particular time of month, recalling the timing, one of the moons has just finished it's full phase, and the other is about to enter it. I think whatever Rowan is suffering from, it's likely tied to the moon. Avarice was also here a day ago, we are behind and we're here, eating and chatting... I hope things are alright, I would go out myself, but that seems nearly suicide if I ran into Avarice on my own, or worse, other traps or monstrosities.
 
We managed to persuade Freyja that we should leave this evening, we'll be taking the lord Sigrum's wolfen sleigh. I investigated the stall Sucho was kept in, finding brown fur and signs of struggle.
 
I think Rowan might be a were-Rat.
 
We left in a rush, Mayalee giving Freyja the reigns, who then made the magic sleigh an almost terrifying ride.
 
We arrived and made our way in via a back door, we looked through some books and found a hole leading down, however we checked the other side of the hall and heard some comotion, in the room next we could see up tot he sky, where Honey was combating some giant flying thing above, she was attacked and nearly killed and thrown down the tower, I managed to catch her with feather fall.
