Session 5
Spoke with the others what i learned from the girls at the table last night. Found out they were most definitly lying about knowing the source and content of some of the potion ingredients. The red head, Nina is supposedly a cleric, though she's sold most of her clerical gear and is now studying arcane magic after being contracted to preserve the removed wings of some celestial the town executed without trial.
Went back out to the shop today to see about selling these tools i found and to pick up some extra supplies. Chatted up the shopkeep and had lunch with her, I also finally put my Find familiar spell to use and with her help came up with what can be best compared to a mix of ferret and rabbit that i'm calling Whul, due to his socklike appearance. Back at the inn we discussed the potential origins of these potions and were sent out to go find a missing grain shipment. We found the guard who was sent out as a suicide mission to collect it themselves. Seems they pissed off the guard captain by selling a potion for way less than it was worth. We saved him and mostly cleared out an orc cave to retrieve the grain. Upon returning we got a feather for our time. Apparently the feather will stand in for a lot of magical components.
Pushing more into this health potion thing will definitely put us on the bad side of the local government.
