Session 20

Catching Honey and putting her onto a floating disk, the fighting above eventually died down and the outside seemed to shimmer through the hole in the 'roof' Seems maybe someone has closed off the tower from above.
 
We made our way down a couple levels, I found some books, Mayalee and Evelyn recovered a cloak and a ring and I found some enchanted water skins with various alcohols in them. Verrick found a basket full of fruits i don't recognize.
 
We came across a shrine to Mystril. Stumping Verrick and I Evelyn was able to push on the symbol of the gone god and it created a vial of some sort of glowing liquid.
 
Next we sent the bug zombie?Skeleton? down ahead of us and it was immediately attacked by a slithering creature, we decided to quickly stele ourselves before deciding to head down into what assuredly would be a fight.
 
We dropped down and engaged a basalisk, Evelyn was petrified but Mellisande was able to cure her. Though it seems now that she is turning into a tiefling?
 
We also found a room with a projection speaking in a language we don't understand. Frejya was able to translate it as a place that can turn illusions into reality.
 
We decided stopping here and getting a rest while we can might be best. While we rested, it seems specters of Elliodiel and Verrick's Father lingered around. When we woke up Evelyn was fully a tiefling with leathery wings and red skin, her hair had turned onyx. Honey woke up, she seems okay for now. We made our way back up the tower as we'd reached the bottom. It seems the fighting spilled outside as we finally emerged, the area covered in craters instead of the snow fields we last saw.
 
On our way out we spotted a shielding dome, I asked to stick around to see who emerged from it.
