Session 9
We stopped in to visit the Easthaven Endans this morning, Mayalee had things she wished to discuss before we got underway with the investigation.
We found the fishermen's boat and followed their tracks to a cave, wherein we encountered Maude Chiselbone a hag who has been eating travelers and fishermen. We decided to leave her be for the moment.
Investigating the other caves, we found the remains of a campsite and papers about the frost giants using a hotspring to drown themselves.
Collecting the papers, we investigated further. Finding a pit with bones and a very hungry looking wolf. The wolf lunged and we engaged it.
We took the moment to rest and collect ourselves before turning back and confronting the hag, who turned out to actually be a hag and we fought her. Mayalee eventually caved her skull in with divine light and we made off with her copper cauldron. A great boon ( at least after it gets cleaned ) for a town in need of food, we're going to sell it to Easthaven.
We also got a bag from the Guard captain that creates furry creatures. We also found a bag of holding ( mine! ) some powerful prayer beads and some augury bones. Mayalee also brought me a dagger to id, which seems oddly powerful and without extra utility for it's name " The Elder Crone's Tooth " I advised to be careful with it.
Time to go get something to eat, I am so very sore and hungry.
