Session 2 - Notes from the day

Janjan was murdered, that's why they haven't been to work. Brunda and Ymgarl are suspects in this murder.
 
Shreky was being accosted in a alleyway over some money, Verrick seems to want to question him about something.
 
Someone seems to have broken a chair over Brunda when we went to question them.
 
Her bears went crazy and busted down the door, the bigger one attacked a guard and sent them sprawling. I dragged them out of the immediate danger.
 
Brunda was hit with a chair over an argument about the homosexual affair her husband was having with Janjan. He fled next door to his brothers' house.
 
After discovering him beneath the floorboards He seems to have been set to meet Janjan at the Gildenstag the night of the murder, but was stood up. But was saddened when Mayalee suggested they were at the inn for someone else and then wailed when he learned Janjan was dead. Ymgarl was then arrested.
 
From here we went to the town hall. Honey's troupe was here meeting with the speaker as well, so we sat and waited.
 
Once the troupe of adventurers was completed with their talks, they uprooted to head to Lonelywood. One of the troupe members was staring at me when they left. They had a mask on.
 
We relayed the information from the day to the speaker, I also learned Janjan was in charge of the lottery. Maybe the lottery prompted the murder? Requested information about the last draw.
 
Verrick who departed us was brought back into the Speaker's hall by the town guard. Suspected for Murder. Vesstan , Mayalee's husband and head of the town guard brought him in. Mayalee moved over and spoke with him. She was able to get him out on bail but he must return to lockup at the end of each day to spend the night in a cell and any time spent out of it must be under Mayalee's watch.
 
Apparently Verrick also has a stolen bag which contained the shardaline pieces that he used in the basement at Arcos'. We're going to go look for this Vince Barten at the Northlook. He was apparently travelling with another halfling a massive dragonborn and the Tiefling Avarice.
 
The person Verrick was following when he was dropped off in front of the corpse is a Warlock named Callista. He doesn't think she would kill a person like this, though she did pass him one of the dagger blades and lead him to a corpse as the guards were passing.
 
Went by to see Amafrey, she suggested stopping by a travelling vendor The Pheonix's Feather about a cure all potion. The wagon pulled by a pair of oxen with a big red pheonix on the side. Run by a halfling. Selling an 'Elite healing potion'. Purchased one of these potions for 40 gold.
 
The next morning i ran into Nass Lantomir. She knew Avarice and Dazann. According to her Rowan helped solve a cipher that has brought all these adventurers north... also Rowan may have been the masked person who stared at me the previous night. What is she doing back, Also.. she may have been kicked out of the academy, which is an insane thought, she was always so brilliant and resourceful. I gave Nass the info about them heading to Lonelywood, which piqued her interest. Seems she's heading after them.
 
Met with the group back at the Gildenstag. Shared with them the potion that I purchased from the man last night. Apparently these might be coming from Targos. Elodiel had a much more powerful one that will revive a person within a year of their death and bring them up to 50 hp.
