Journal 24

We stayed out decently late drinking with Gilly and Grigor, I'm going to hold onto the wedding ring for a little bit to keep his hopes up, that the wedding will happen before we leave town again.
 
The next morning I woke up in my father's armchair. Mother and Rowan cooking breakfast. I stepped in and mother praised me for what happened in the church yesterday. I am so thankful we were able to protect everyone. The demons never came close to Amafrey, Bran or Ander. We also managed to keep the Nox's safe and even saved Karla, one of the town guards. I let her know about the troubling note we found with the last encounter we had with Dueregar. Pointing towards a disaster for ten towns, she mentioned another group that had come north from where they are holed up looking to speak with Shane about their findings.
 
I agreed that I should likely head to the town hall today to learn what I can and then mother excused herself, leaving me to finish up breakfast prep with Rowan.
 
Grigor and I met up with Verrick and then the rest of everyone else back at the Town Hall.
 
Verrick began recounting a dream about fires and dragons while I and Evelyn stepped aside to check in on someone who was waiting in the Speaker's house full of arrows.
 
We met with speaker Shane and with Nina's info Verrick, Nina and I convinced Speaker Shane of the dangers. She is going to call a council of the towns to discuss this and I will work with Nina and mother to come up with a more short term plan.
 
On the way to speak with mother we stopped by a merchant's cart, seems we are currently carrying a lot of things that could be sold.
