Journal 28
Headed out early in the morning, grabbing a light breakfast and heading to the archive. I shared the information I found with mother and let her know what I found out about Father. She heavily implied that I should head to Easthaven instead of the Bell, which I am content to agree. I set about my usual work routine while I waited to hear from the others.
The rest came in and began speaking about tracking down Rafil to somehow postpone Melli's curse. I put forward that I want to head to Easthaven. Evelyn also deduced that Rafil was heading towards the Bell.
Honey and Rowan accompanied us towards Easthaven.
We were attacked by Goblins on the road, we squished them and made it to Easthaven.
We swung by the White Lady Inn and made a plan to stop in with the Town Hall to gather information about the Gnolls.
Scython brought us to the town hall to talk to the Speaker. We offered to go and help take care of the Gnolls in place of returning the Cauldron. We also informed him about the threat of the Chardlyn Dragon. We stayed the night and were lead down into the chasm.
We entered the Chasm and took out three Gnolls near the front, one was a loss but we were able to recover 2 livers from the ones here.
Clearing through the rest of the cave we found a caged man with madness induced by Chardalyn. After slaying the gnolls and collecting the flind skull, ( 6 livers in total collected), we put the man out of his misery and disposed of the chardalyn spear he clutched.
We headed back to the town.
