Last time we left off, the party decided to take on a herd of displacer hogs capturing quite a few, including one rather pregnant female. With some light shopping, and a little exploring of the town, the group now with there potionkreen in hand, a few displacer hogs aboard there ship, and some more intel gathered, would learn of a darker problem at hand in the black market of the city. With Essa meeting the nefarious Rakshasa Latch of The Last Latch Slavers guild brazengly showing the bodyguard disguised as a young noble other dragonkin of her own species. Though with little uproar caused, Essa would end up buying the two dragonkin Orveir and Orum, alongside mentioning to James of the slaver close at hand. James however would also end up meeting quite a unique snow beard by the name of Throstik Metalbrand a xenophobic pirate who had offered james a crystal of sorts as a calling card. Though James would kindly accept the card, he later made it clear of his lack of interest in working with the group currently. Though now with the party regathered upon the ship, we return to the party having spent the night resting and enjoying themselves with Rolamin just returning to the ship come morning.
Last time we left off, the party had managed to land in the toth city of Cruor Castle. Here they would see the three large pillars of the underdark, and while staying amongst the merchant column and noble column. The party would find themselves with an unusally kind yet capable guide who refused to name himself. Though the party would grow suspicious immediately, the guide would prove somewhat useful showing our heros around. With the help of Essa declaring herself a member of the Tan clan of Gregsmaratan, the city guards seemed to have little interest in the group. The group would then begin checking out the city as they would split, while Essa would pay a visit to Gregsmaratam's embassy, James and Rolamin would find themselves guides to the adventurers guild to check out and learn of the latest quests within the city. Now with a quest in hand, the group would head out to take on a quest to gather death ore in an abandon mines. Through quick wit and fast movements, our adventurers would manage to easily defeat a group of grimlocks, and although Rolamin would find himself in some strange dream temporarily, the party would find themselves more concerned of the necklace found around Jame's neck. With there quest complete, death ore in hand, the party would return to the city handing off the death ore and planning there next move. We return to the next day after the group had slept through the night on there ship. Rolamin having decided to spend his day within the city visiting with a "friend"
Last time we left off, the party barely had managed to escape a large ritual spell set off by Jakix. As the party managed to escape with the help of an older frost giant named Yewkh and his tunnel that he had directly to the city. Essa would warn Uthem's men of the pending disaster but by then to the parties dismay it was already to late. With rats hot on the heals of Rolamin and James, the two would barely manage to escape the tunnel as Yewkh would give his life protecting them. With there lives spared for the time, the party though bothered by a few guards would finally reunite before storming out of the city prior to anything worse occuring. Though due to some quick thinking on Essa's part, the party would not leave empty handed as Essa gathered up the old frost giants store front and returned back to the party, goods in hand. Now with a fully repaired airship, a cargo full of goods and a new goal in mind, the Ironheart Merchant Company begins its mission to the Toth lands as we rejoin the crew after a 9 month voyage.
Last time we left off, the party found themselves watching what they believed to be a territory dispute between a group of water elementals and three young arcticmanes. Though the battle would take place near a large lyrium outcropping, the party would find that once both groups had left a strange corpse was laying at the center of it all. Though dead and picked clean, the party managed to find a few magic items as well as one very cursed robe. After watching james almost expire with his own mind delving into deep meditation, his drooling body left his party quite concerned. With some quick thinking, the party would choose to return back to the city to find and remove the curse of there dear merchant caravan leader. While returning however, Essa with a few good rolls would manage to catch sight of an arcticmane far larger then usual following after the party, though with a few quick treats the creature seemed completely neutral for the time. Though as the night would go on the party would learn the truth, and after convincing the large arcticmane known as Beardy that he wasn't truly a threat compared to some of the monsters out there. The creature would take offense and retreat after destroying half of the village of Niten. Though the party would follow after Essa would be the first to arrive on the scene as Beardy was finishing his spell back at the lyrium outcropping the day had started with. With quick thinking, and a fast feet, Essa would find herself using her breath weapon just to disrupt the spell circle as Beardy was beginning to cast a powerfully dangerous spell, with the breath weapon now connecting the lyrium and spell circle directly the surge of magic would cause a massive explosion and see the world rumble beneath there feet. With nothing but Beardys tail left, Essa and Shun Hyet would return slowly to James and Rolamin. Though as the party returned to town, at the end of the darkened main street stands a furious and tense world leader known as Regin Uthem staring the party down, scythe drawn.
Last time we left off the party managed to watch as a great disturbance was carried out within the city of Hrimpursar's Last Hold. With little choice, the Ironheart Merchant Company was forced to watch as the adventuring party they had just met was banished from the city. Nearly escaping a powerful being that seemed willing to call the gods down on them, the party chose to instead follow a new potential ally or enemy named Pierre the Air Genasi with the fantastic mustache. Though he was not there to complete the ritual, the party did decide to leave Hrimpursar's Last Hold after taking a job to investigate some arcticmanes and a silver mine vein. Though with the help of Pierre and his powerful backer, the party set off to see the city of Niten and hopefully complete there quest in style. While landing in Niton however, the party would add one more ally a quencha named Shun-hyet (shun-yet) a wolf with a thick white fur, red highlights and fur across her belly, as well as having the ability to cast firebolt it seems. Though Essa would manage to forge a pact with the creature, the party would yet to test there new found allies in combat, as they headed out aboard Pierre's airship we return to them flying toward the area they were told the arcticmanes had been seen.
Last time we left off the party would split up. James would spend his time in town crafting away at both the blowgun and a new item that he had designed out of the elemental gemstones. With his time well spent in town, Rolamin and essa would find themselves adventuring with the local heros that had managed to hold off the gloom scouts previously. Though slightly underwhelmed by there performance in comparison to the rumors. The Ironheart Merchant Co would find themselves taking on a mission to slay goblins while in town. Though interestingly enough while joining up with the local heros the group would be introduced to a strange figure of a red skinned proto-fiend humanoid who after the party rescued learned of his alliance with the Goldenheart Merchant Co ran by the notorious Xarius of Clan Xarius. After managing to not only defeat the goblins, spiders and water elementals. The party once again would return to the inn, resting the night away. We return the next morning James regailing Essa and Rolamin of his deeds over the day.
Last time we left off, the party had managed to uncover a potential affair between a large and powerful female landerkin, and a small green dragon wyrmling. Though the wyrmling looked to have been killed, the party managed after confirming the eggs were the result of the two breeding. Deciding it was better to not attempt to take one of the eggs in the rare case that other dragons come looking, the parties suspicions would be answered almost immediately as the wyrmlings clan would be spotted overhead. Deciding it would be better to go elsewhere, the party managed to steal an egg from another group of landerkin before returning back to dragons crown. Only to find upon there way the abandoned town that had been used as a drak breeding ground. As the party took a few eggs, they decided to cut there chance of death and returned with the newly acquired loot. Upon arriving and getting paid, the party would meet a mysterious fellow who never gave his name but seemed to be quite skilled. After the mystery man would assist the party convincing Rolamin that he was one of his own people. The party would then decide to finally take the letter from Hoggo to Thrid in Hrimpursar's Last Hold. And after realizing the time it would take to travel on foot, the party decided instead to try there hands at the black market where a potential lead on a sky ship captain could be found. Here they would meet Loruf, and together the party would set out to the frost giant stronghold, bringing us to our current situation as the party finds themselves traveling for roughly fifteen days at this point, seeing the ground below them glow as small campfires can be seen all throughout the forest beneath.
Last session our brave heros managed to outrun a group of drak after nearly escaping the hands of Blum's third son's raiding party that had managed to wipe out the bandits the party had tailed. Upon finding out that there target Araxanor had been tortured to death within the bandit camp that now lay in ruins. The party then found themselves chased with the supposed child of Araxanor in toe, one arm less, as they barely escaped with the final drak being tamed. As the partys luck was looking bright, they would then find themselves at the mercy of the City of Gold a giant mimic that with some quick thinking and stabbing, the party managed to distract the creature to chase after a small light source. Now drenched in blood, they would return to the city to find out that xoowryct claimed Araxanor son as his own heir, and the party decided instead of showing interest in this to drink with the man and then head out after some landerkin, with the search checks already entered into chat. 6 Rolamin, 7 James, 24 for Essa
Last time we left off the party had just managed to find out that Araxanor had done some evil deeds in there merchant companies name. As such the party after taking a quest to hunt him down has managed after half a days travel east to find a mysterious looking camp with log enforced walls and activity as it appears. Though still a days travel from it, the fort stands alone in the middle of the clearing.
You all will be starting slightly after returning briefly to Jame's hometown and then heading off after hearing about new businesses and markets opening up in the city of Dragons Crown that is looking to welcome outside adventurers and tradesman. You after hearing this James convinced Rolamin that the fortune would be worth it and after the two of you agree that you would not get involved in any of the politics but rather venture forth to the city to seek wealth through trade. You find yourselves entering the city gates. I'll be doing some narration overall will cover this briefly and then while you "explore the city" ill give you all a chance to explain what you look like and a bit about yourselves from what each of you already know about each other. That way we can set a pace going forward.
