The Uthem Kingdom

Cities

Here we will show the maps of the kingdoms, duchies and lands throughout each of the ages.

Hrimpursar's Last Hold

A city said to be at the center of the frost ridden mountains of the southern pole. It is believed that about 100 feet out from each of the mountains the weather dramatically changes back to the tropical like feel. But while within or around the city, the average temperature is said to stay at zero degrees during the day and negative fifty at night. Allowing for few to survive in the hostile terrain, though the Hrimur Jotun Uthem founded the city at the heart of the frosty mountains, granting them the name Uthem's Icy Tomb. The city itself sits deep within the mountains in a vast hallowed out city similar to the Modr Jotun in size and complexity, though the city is known for its artistic design similar to the old Khmer archeticture. The city is said to have housed thousands of animal pens, research areas, training fields, and many druids within the deepest part of the mountain. The city itself is also noted to have a large underground opening as its on the fartherest right mountain, many trade ships have been seen trading deep within the cities merchant alcove. Though as the many smugglers, merchants, and other such travelers have learned, the city of Hrimpursar's Last Hold does not allow non Hrimur outside of the merchant alcove portion of the town. A small area where some Hrimur have been known to trade, and others who seek employment through adventuring can be seen within these areas.

Nobility

Here we shall discuss notable noble houses through the time periods.

Regin Uthem "One Eye Slayer" of clan Grunaga

Known as a respected ice mage, raider, and warrior. Uthem is most notebly believed to be a prideful yet shrewd ruler who would do anything to be worshipped. Though while many others at the time had similar beliefs to being worshipped. Uthem was one of the few who chose to do it by providing for his people, and building his legend through raw power and capability. While many Hrimur worshipped Uthem, in truth his real worship is known amongst a small cult of niwarves due to him having slain a few young beholder who had spawned from the niwarves god. Though in his younger years Uthem was noted as one of the more powerful ice mages, it is also believed that he favored druidic magic and beast taming. With his full understanding and capabilities, he was rumored to sell powerful intelligent monsters to other world leaders to use the animals as his spies. Though these are only rumors after all. The majority of the information on Uthem does come second hand from the Collective of Pyrus who sat at his court in exchange for information sharing between the two nations. It its noted that Uthem strongly believed himself to be Ogeron's true successor, and a god amongst the giants as a whole. Many of what the giants considered lesser races, Uthem looked on with petty, as some would note his great acts of charity but in truth they were ways for Uthem to sway those around him to his great power. Uthem was in the end, a strong, prideful, shrewd and intelligent king who was believed to be ahead of his time. Though it would be later discovered that Uthem on his birth was noted for having had his father attempt to sacrifice a god in offering for the child. This would be told to Uthem that his birth was blessed with the sacrifice of a forgotten god to history. Giving him as many historians have stated both a gift and a curse, gifted with great expectations, but in the end cursed by the god that was slain to always get close to success and fail.

Coins

Here we shall find how the coins look, what materials they are made of, and what the value of the coins are on the overall market.
DIAMOND CROWNS
The first coin that replaced the common platinum that the dragons used for its shininess. Giants though, are not dragons, thus the more common material of liquid diamonds would be harvested from the cores of the volcanoes in the heart of the magma as it was believed. This material would be farmed to make coins and other magical items.
RUBY VOLCANOS
Believed to be equivalent to the gold piece commonly used by the lesser nations including dragons. Thus the Jotun-Modr pioneered the coin in the shape of their homeland to be used by those sworn to them. These simple coins are individually 5cm by 5cm like the other coins, however it is clear and seems to sparkle from its craftsmanship only possible by the Jotun-Modr who individually made each coin.
SAPPHIRE HILLS
Sapphire hills were thinner coins due to there higher rarity, though most giants valued sapphires less then rubies and only slightly more then emeralds. Thus most recognized this simple hill drawn with sheep grazing into the individual sapphires as a silver coin.
EMERALD PLAINS
Lastly and most common in the Jotun-Modr volcanos were emeralds. As the material was farmed simply from their individual Rok-heap herds. Thus simple grass would be carved into the coins as apprentices practiced there arts on the coins.

Trade Goods

Here you shall find the trade goods this race has on offer in the nations they inhabit.
QUECHUA
A frost giant like wolf species known for its extremely dense fur, powerful bite, and high intelligence, the creatures are used by the frost giants as both beasts of burden and as a domesticated species. Many subspecies of the animal has been created, but with its large amounts of fur, its extreme food motivation, and its lack of territory outside of Uthem's Icy Tomb mountain range. It is no wonder the species thrives within the Hrimur society, though there are few more warmer climate variants that the Hrimur offer for trade, as they are just as large but seem to be only meant for battle, and are to aggressive to be rode into battle. Many believe these are the rejects of the breeding program, but there is no denying there capabilities in battle and for the original breed of quechua its many types of fur.
MODR CHUA
Another species exclusive to the territory is noted as the "Fire Boar" as noted in common. The giant boars are noted for being as large as the Quechua, and rich in meat and flavor. The boars were named as such for there bright red eyes, and yellow fur, noting these creatures not to have a direct predator. They seemed to thrive within the deep underground of the mountains and are said to taste delicious when served with sweeter berry sauce. Though the rumor that Uthem named the species this after his younger middle brother Sunna are currently unknown, it is confirmed that Uthem had kept one of the largest boars skulls and mounted it with the name "Sunna's mindset" carved into a plaque beneath it.
Rok-Heap
A sheep like animal that grows minerals instead of wool, however they must constantly be "shaved" otherwise the creature will be crushed under its own weight. They eat minerals and create more of it continously until fed another mineral.
Common Tree
A tree that seems to have the natural strength of oak but a hardiness that allows it to grow everywhere.
Type
Geopolitical, Kingdom
