Status Plate

A simple gold plate said to be about a foot wide and about a foot tall, with less then an eigth of an inch thick. When saying the words "(insert party name here) Status" this item begins to act as if the Status spell was cast. The tablet will begin to show information on the individual should they choose to fail the will save (DC based on caster who is using the item). The outer area of the plating has a simple design of two hammers crossed over with a single light blue drop that appears as if mana itself is seen where the two hammers handles cross. This pattern is done multiple times around the front and back edges of the Status Plate. 
The Spell Status: Divination Level: Clr 2 Components: V, S Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Touch Targets: One living creature touched per three levels Duration: 1 hour/level Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless) Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless) When you need to keep track of comrades who may get separated, status allows you to mentally monitor their relative positions and general condition. You are aware of direction and distance to the creatures and any conditions affecting them: unharmed, wounded, disabled, staggered, unconscious, dying, nauseated, panicked, stunned, poisoned, diseased, confused, or the like. Once the spell has been cast upon the subjects, the distance between them and the caster does not affect the spell as long as they are on the same plane of existence. If a subject leaves the plane, or if it dies, the spell ceases to function for it.
