Gek has obliterated the Goblin camp, turning them to ash in moments, but in doing so has left himself vulnerable to the winds of chaos. Soon he finds himself ripped from the earth, flung into Deep Space, alone in the Astral Sea...
With an Archfae to thank for the giant corpses not littering the already destroyed streets of the city, the Party have but one foe remaining, the Hobgoblin Warlord, Kugnarz. As the dragon returns to the keep to prepare, shocked but focused, it becomes clear the fight for Black Pearl Keep is far from over.
The party return to Rootsreach with Elven and Human outcasts, surviving a Basilisk Encounter on the path with no casualties. They see an Airship from Silserion above as they arrive, captained by a Grey-skinned Orc, they safely assume to be Commander Vordokov.
With their mission completed, the party have some information to return to Baron Oardess. They have also encountered many more questions that have amassed together. Explanations will not show themselves easily, but they have sources they can check for more details. This all comes secondary, however, to the recently unconscious Vermeer. He has been displaying bizarre physical quirks and mental inconsistencies that have confounded the party to no end, atop the confusion surrounding his very presence here. With him tied up, they make their way back to Dullman's rest, in the hopes of getting him to safety and finding some answers.
The party has just encountered and fought of Red Slaadi with the help of Ralken League mercenaries and, however unlikely it seems, a group of cultists. Demeter Tarron steps out from a tent close to the end, raising countless questions. It seems the Ralken League group recognise this cult and had deemed them relatively harmless, however, with the party's additional knowledge, they question whether something sinister is at play.
With new information that Vermeer may be located in Chult, a mythical land told of in folk tales, the party need a way there. Demeter has been spotted recently, her presence offering a plentitude of questions on its own. Along with this, the party still have no idea how the giant frog-like creatures fit into this story, nor why the Troglodytes have acted so strangely recently. With a solid lead much needed, they rest in the Sleeping Dragon Tavern and try to formulate a plan.
The party, unable to save anyone from the caves, return to Rootsreach with treasures, hoping their efforts were not in vain. On this road, Demeter Tarron appeared, busy with her own work, to traumatise the party. The confusion she offered helped none, unsurprisingly. Now they rest in Rootsreach.
The strange encounter in the caves has left the party bewildered. Countless questions have risen, far more than have been answered. They do now, however, potentially have the means to afford Lady Lavender's Scrying with the gemstones they found in the cave.
Niamh Tarron, the late Demeter's daughter, joins the party. Her mother's goal, still unfinished, compels her to find her father. The party have the means the Scry on Vermeer and potentially find him, but the price is costly.
The caves the party were sent to, to gather a fungus for Daniel, have proved far more treacherous than initially thought. Troglodytes guard the cave, warding off the party. A scream was heard from a man deeper in the cave when they were leaving, prompting the party to set up camp outside and rest before delving back in.
Demeter's husband, who went missing just a week ago, appeared in town without warning. After a fireball was flung at the party by the presumed shapeshifter, it vanished and ran away. The party visited a mystic woman, Madam Lavender, who suggested they Scry on the creature, or perhaps Demeter's husband. The party, in deliberation over whether they should avail of the service or if they can even afford it, sit in The Sleeping Dragon Tavern, awaiting the return of Daniel Prince.
Our adventurers meet each other and form a party, in hopes to survive by the rule of "Apes together strong".
