Player Character Descriptions:

Arthur- brawn, human, 6'3, pale, late 20s, chainmail, clothes over it, belt, large sword, axe, crossbow, large knives, mercenary (fighter), war veteran, necklace-bear claws

Daniel- brains, human, 5'8, dark green eyes, dull brown hair, brown leather coat, backpack and important looking box, no armour, stiletto dagger, glasses that you hold to use

Demeter- horns with flowers, brown hair and eyes, warm cloak, big bag with loads of stuff, long-distance travelling, pots and pans etc, plant looking jewellery, leaves woven into armour, the sigil of the Emerald Enclave (government)- green background with deer

Gek- white kobold, has a white fin that's always up with small rip, small, bright blue eyes, covered in menacing black, gold and red clothing with metal and spikes, five rings on each hand attached to cuff on his wrist by small chains engraved with sigil of the Rakdos Cult

Rakdos Cult- worship demon Rakdos, burn shit, entertain him

Party meet:
Elven man at Shadowbridge Trader's Post
World sap ale- apparently made from the sap of the Yggdrasil tree
We got a map of Rootsreach
There used to be other things (wyverns) kept in the stable

The Sleeping Dragon Tavern:

Maeral Ianbella- inn owner, likes things clean

Kasper van Ginneken- blacksmith, human man, hands covered in soot, Van Ginneken Metalworks, baron called Ellisar - kinda hate him but he helps, wants Demeter to go to shop

Saevel Ianlar- leatherworker, elven woman, sitting with a blacksmith, has a husband

Pamphrexas Arkax- arcanist, goes by Arkax, white Dragonborn, only one in town, bat on shoulder called Mortimer, reading enchanting rituals, shop in the Cold Market called the Spell Counter, asks Gek to go to shop

Thorrel- general store, well-dressed woman

████- works at fletcher, young elven man (100)

Morved- aviary, asks Arthur to meet her

Rootsreach 20/4/1436

We walk outside and Demeter's husband immediately chucks a fireball at us
Demeter divine sense- not a demon, not an angel, not a fiend, but also not good i.e. he is a neutral creature
His shoulder gets chopped off and grows back, he goes invisible and runs away, blood on the floor looks like human blood and then it disappears into ash and blows away

Shopping:

Casper van Ginneken- need to get rare materials so he can make cool armour for Demeter: adamantine, dragon scales, a boy is sad he can't enchant a battle axe, Gek tries to enchant it, there's a white gem in the centre of -the battleaxe now, it grows 8 inches bigger, we bought it for 100 Crowns

Keydan's Fletching- (bow and arrows), there's another young elf who's the resident hunter (at tavern), if we find pelts of animals etc. we can sell them, he would love to have feathers

Spell Counter- don't really do anything

Morved's Mews- Morved can tell Arthur has been traumatised, Arthur tells her about this 13ft mother bear that killed a girl and then killed and ate his father when he was 16, the bear claws around Arthur's neck are the claws of that bear, cousins took him in because he didn't want to stay in his house anymore, signed up to the army to escape the boredom of working in his cousin's tavern, Morved wants Arthur to come back again another day becasue she's fascinated by him

Lady Lavender- according to Maerel, Lavender knows about beasts, doppelgangers can mimic human forms, old spirits called a Yokai (primordials of Andilt- mischief, mysteries, smoke), 270 Crowns for scrying spell so she can see the thing that we saw and know where it is maybe

Husband: It doesn't make sense how Arthur's blade 100% cut off a shoulder and then it regrew so fast, it wasn't an illusion so maybe a shapeshifter, also weird that the shoulder turned into dust
