The Xaedian Pantheon

The Pantheon of Xaedia consists of 22 Gods, these consist of the 7 Primus Gods: Terranos , Aecerinth , Caelora , Irux , Somnovus , Luxathin and Sapredia. The 7 Luminare: Astrumina, Astutia, Bellian, Erosia, Eurustus, Silvani and Sorsun. The 3 Ascended: Galena , Kari and Mayavin. And finally the 5 Fallen: Malox , Halios , Nequital, Avarnia and Dolurus.
The Primus and Fallen represent the original Gods of Xaedia, the ones who moulded the earth and created the races that would walk its surface. A conflict arose between the Gods, the details of which have been lost to time, all that is known is after this conflict there were 2 factions among the pantheon and 5 deities became Fallen.
As the Gods found their domains they also found that their creations sought more pursuits than they deemed sensible to handle. As a result some of the Primus created their own sub-domains to be overseen by their own creations, these would become The Luminare.
Over the course of Xaedia's history 3 more deities would join the pantheon, mortals whose great deeds during their lifetime caused the Gods to ascend them to god-hood upon their death, The Ascended.
