Avarnia is one of the 6 Fallen Gods of Xaedia, he is the God of greed, tyranny and control. Once part of the Primus Pantheon he and his fallen fellows committed great atrocities, the details of which have been lost to time, that caused the other Gods to imprison them and sap some of their power.
Those who follow Avarnia are materialistic and gluttonous, not content with their lot in life they seek to control others and gain power in order to take wealth, secrets, anything for themself. Many are misguided in their devotion to Avarnia, believing their worship of The Avaricious will lead to their own acquisition of wealth and power, however, the reality is that though they may gain these things in life, in death all that belonged to them will belong to Avarnia as his hoarde grows evermore.
Avarnia is traditionally depicted as a lithe man with burning green eyes that appear to crackle with fire. His smile is just slightly too wide for his face and his wrists are wrapped in thick metal chains that clink whenever he moves. He has dark green hair that reaches his thinly bearded jaw.
