Galena is one of the 3 Ascended Gods of Xaedia, once a mere mortal her deeds were so great during her lifetime that Somnovus ascended her to minor deity status upon her death. She became the Goddess of healing, medicine and plague.
Those who follow Galena are traditionally also followers of Somnovus, worship of one usually results in the worship of the other but to a lesser extent. Followers of Galena are often healers, clerics and shamans seeking guidance in the curing of ailments and disease, some followers of Galena, however, are those who wish to create plague and spread misfortune.
Galena is traditionally depicted as an asian woman of dark skin with shoulder length straight black hair. She is muscular in figure with dark brown eyes that are often covered by a plague mask.
