Luxathin is one of the 7 Primus Deities of Xaedia, he is the God of life, light, birth and change. He is one of only three Gods who ascended a mortal to deity status, this being Kari who would become the Goddess of Revelry.
Luxathin is often seen as the polar deity to Somnovus as their two dominions are so vastly different. Though followers of these two deities often clash Somnovus and Luxathin themselves have only ever quarreled once, the resulting skirmish causing the destruction of Xaedia's original moon. The two then banded together after Caelora intervened to create another of the Luminare, Astrumina a Goddess to watch over the celestial bodies so that nothing like this would happen again. Astrumina then created the 3 moons that hang in the Xaedian sky, one for each of her reasons for creation: Caelora, Somnovus and Luxathin.
Those who follow Luxathin are often those who have seen great tragedy and wish to bring light to those in need, they are more often than not charitable and generous people who are strong in their beliefs and convictions.
Luxathin is traditionally depicted as an older man of tanned brown skin with greying brown hair and an unshaven strong jaw. He exudes a warm yellow glow about his person with a kind smile and warm amber eyes that glow in a similar fashion to the rest of him.
