Effects In The Area

The effects of a wild and corrupted well that has been corrupted with Necromancy Well essence. Started to kill all of the living organic materials in The Heart of the Wild. It also turned the stream that flows from the hills that house the well into a deep dark purple color.
The area of a non-corrupted well is full of living creatures and has a balance of forest and shrubs. All this makes it a very habitable environment for all living creatures.

Effects On Items

Well the Talons learned in their research at the Enchantment Well to not swim or dive into the well as this well kills any not protected by an empowered ring of water walking. They found out this is a grousome death as it kills your body but not your soul. It forces your soul to take form into a new body. Siberan of Daarden dove into the Enchantment Well that they turned into a Transmutation Well. This killed him 4 times and reincarnated him ultimatly into a Halfling. In a joking manner they tossed Ithros into the well and he turned into a Warforged that appeared to be Dwarf. He jumped back int and turned into a Warforged that looked Elf. He was pleased with that outcome.

Purpose / Function

This well was designed to control the transmutation magic that this well contained A special well casing was designed by Iken "Cobalt Master" Rhineforrel to house all the all the Transmutation essence from spilling out into the The Heart of the Wild. The growth of plant life is normal. However, if not controlled, a mini feywild would have been created.

Alterations

In the year 1225 Iken "Cobalt Master" Rhineforrel with the help of the Grand Master Wizard Council put a protective well made of Cobalt and white marble to make a magical encasement.

History

The Druids that lived in The Heart of the Wild used this well to help maintain growth and order of all things in the forest. They formed a city of Saunderfoot south of the river that flows from the hills that house the location of the well. in the year of 2528 a Bard named Axel Nightfall Greywing who was trying to infiltrate the Silver Shadow Clan had to do a quest of great damage. Even if he refused his party members would be killed by a geas spell as they where charmed to do this task with or with out Axel Nightfall Greywing. Against his will he took 3 vials of magical essence that was procured by the Necromancy Well. An evil Doppleganger disguised as Queen Aben Saundersfoot was the one that provided the liquid to Axel Nightfall Greywing. This liquid was used to corrupt the essence of the well and was starting to empoower the Necromancy Well. Grog collected liquids of transmutation esssense before and after corruption. As he wanted to study the effects. Some time later and before the great purge of Saunderfoot the Talons where able to restore the well. They also played arround with the transmutation liquid and found out a ring of water walking allowed Garim Vaeliss to walk to the bottom of the well. In doing so he found a chamber that was hiden. This is known as the Chamber of the Cobalt Master in this chamber he also found another room that led to the The Vault's of Thorn'Adan here he tossed the trick coin he dipped into the well and all the coins turned to platinum. The transmutation magic made the enchantment of the coin stronger thus turning all coins it is near into true platinum coins.
